I'm simply fascinated by the reaction of glass, metals, and fire. Contrary to what you might expect of glass beads, my signature style has evolved to one of unique, large focals with abstract designs that are full of texture.
I come from a long line of talented dabblers in art, a fabulous fashion designer and a great-great grandfather who was a German glassblower. Born and raised in northern Florida and the Keys, I currently live with my husband and two little chickadees in the rural lake country of the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Greatly influenced by the beauty of my surroundings, it's likely that you may see a bit of the ocean in one design or wild flowers and forest in another.
